Hand wash your veil with some gentle soap using cold or room temperature water. When complete, air dry only. Iron the fabric with the cotton setting. However, as I cannot always remember which veil has cotton or synthetic thread, switch to the synthetic setting when ironing the edges where the thread is located. This lowers the risk of the synthetic thread melting.
