What type of information this site can collect, how, and why it collects information: Lutheran Veils collects and stores the personal information you input at checkout (like e-mail, address, etc.) All information is used for this shop to function. For example, I many need to reference back to a customer’s address if it’s needed in the future. Moreover, the information that you input on the contact form will also be stored for future reference and will help the shop function. Analytics of how and from where (city and state) customers interact with the site are also collected. For example, I can see how many people from Colorado visited the site, though I can’t see their name or home address, of course. This site also collects IP address. All of these analytics are useful for conduct of this business. For example, I can see how many people click on a specific veil versus a different one, and thus recognize which veil is more popular.  For a full report of what this site can collect, please research what analytics the Wix Business Premium Plan allows this site to collect. Wix is the website builder used for created Lutheranveils.com.

 

How all of this information is stored: Wix is the platform for this site’s existence. Thus, Wix may store information you provide to this website on their servers (which are behind a firewall.) The payment process this site uses is what has been offered by Wix.

 

How Lutheranveils communicates with it’s customers: With the information you provide, whether it be e-mail or phone, Lutheran Veils may contact you if there arises any issues with your order. By email, or possibly text, you may receive a survey asking about your experience with the site. Or, you may receive a poll asking for your opinion on potential product designs. Additionally, I may contact you if I have a question regarding the design of your veil. For example, I may send you a picture or video of the lace I have in mind for a veil that you requested. Essentially, I will reach out to you if I have question only you, the customer, can answer.
